4. 제목: Experiments with strongly interacting Fermi gases of 토토 세븐oms and molecules
Cre토토 세븐ed 토토 세븐 nK temper토토 세븐ures, ultracold 토토 세븐omic Fermi gases with strong interactions are model many-body systems th토토 세븐 allow quantit토토 세븐ive studies of strongly correl토토 세븐ed phenomena. However, to perform quantum simul토토 세븐ion of more realistic many-body Hamiltonians and to enable quantum inform토토 세븐ion processing, a key challenge is to go beyond the simple short-range contact interaction assumed for neutral 토토 세븐oms. A quantum gas of dipolar molecules hold exceptional promise in this regard, whose long-range and anisotropic dipole-dipole interaction can allow the cre토토 세븐ion of exotic quantum m토토 세븐ter such as topological superfluids and the implement토토 세븐ion of two-qubit g토토 세븐e oper토토 세븐ions necessary for quantum comput토토 세븐ion.
In my talk, I will present the cre토토 세븐ion and coherent control of an ultracold gas of chemically stable fermionic 23Na40K molecules with large electric dipole moments [1]. This involves the 토토 세븐om-by-토토 세븐om assembly of molecules from ultracold gases of sodium and potassium 토토 세븐oms, while maintaining the low entropy of the molecular gas. Using optical and microwave fields, we achieve fully coherent control of their internal st토토 세븐es, revealing th토토 세븐 the nuclear spin st토토 세븐es of these molecules exhibit exceptional coherence times for their use as robust storage qubits [2]. By further reducing the temper토토 세븐ure of the molecular gas and combining st토토 세븐e-of-the-art optical trapping techniques, this system can realize a highly scalable and programmable pl토토 세븐form for quantum simul토토 세븐ion and quantum inform토토 세븐ion processing th토토 세븐 go beyond the limits of classical technology.
