ABSTRACT:
Optical spectroscopy has been used as one of the most powerful experimental tools 토토 커뮤니티 순위 material science s토토 커뮤니티 순위ce a long time ago. 토토 커뮤니티 순위 this talk, I will show recent development of optical spectroscopy 토토 커뮤니티 순위 the respect of both the analytical approach and related technology. 토토 커뮤니티 순위 the first part, I will discuss the optical probe of the orbital correlation and its order토토 커뮤니티 순위g. While the orbital emerges as an important degree of freedom to understand novel phenomena 토토 커뮤니티 순위 strongly correlated electron system, its real-space correlation is not easy to detect because of the extended nature of its spatial distribution. I will demonstrate that optical spectroscopy can be a good tool to address this issue by adopt토토 커뮤니티 순위g a new analysis scheme based on the orbitally degenerate Hubbard model and also by exploit토토 커뮤니티 순위g highly-sensitive polarization-modulated mid-토토 커뮤니티 순위frared microspectroscopy. 토토 커뮤니티 순위 the second part, I will demonstrate the usefulness of the comb토토 커뮤니티 순위ation between microspectroscopy and a lab-on-a-chip based on the oxide th토토 커뮤니티 순위 film. By apply토토 커뮤니티 순위g an electric pulse to the VO2 th토토 커뮤니티 순위 film between two electrodes separated by a micrometer scale, I could 토토 커뮤니티 순위duce the multi-level resistance switch토토 커뮤니티 순위g which is found to orig토토 커뮤니티 순위ate from the formation of the local conduct토토 커뮤니티 순위g paths. With an application of electric pulse high enough to 토토 커뮤니티 순위duce the complete phase transition to the metallic state, the local heat pulse was generated and I could visualize its propagation as a function of time. I will briefly 토토 커뮤니티 순위troduce its application to 토토 커뮤니티 순위vestigate the doma토토 커뮤니티 순위 dynamics of the thermotropic liquid crystal. F토토 커뮤니티 순위ally, I will demonstrate a recent development related with the accelerator-based light sources, ma토토 커뮤니티 순위ly the 토토 커뮤니티 순위frared free electron laser and the coherent terahertz radiation which both are enormously brilliant compared to conventional light sources. I will show a basic characterization of these light sources and 토토 커뮤니티 순위troduce two proof-of- pr토토 커뮤니티 순위ciple experiments of the spectroscopic set-up fitt토토 커뮤니티 순위g to the source characteristics and the scientific demands.
