Nanoscale and 토토 승무패 Photonics with Semiconductor Nanostructures

Low-dimensional semiconductor nanostructures such as 토토 승무패 dots and 토토 승무패 wires have been actively investigated due to their unique electronic and optical properties. In this talk, we present the fabrication and characterization of various types of light emitting semiconductor nanostructures together with their optoelectronic and 토토 승무패 photonic applications. Single 토토 승무패 dots formed in these types of nanostructures overcome many limitations in conventional self-assembled epitaxial 토토 승무패 dots and can be utilized as high efficiency 토토 승무패 emitters for 토토 승무패 information technologies. An overview of the characteristics of the group III-nitride 토토 승무패 dots as well as graphene-based 토토 승무패 dots will be given.
