Tenure-Track Faculty Position in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics, Optics, Biophysics, and Theoretical Particle Physics at 토토 후기<?xml:namespace prefix = o /

The Department of Physics at Pohang University of Science and Technology (토토 후기) has openings of several faculty positions in various fields for the spring/fall semester of 2017 or spring semester of 2018. We invite applications for the following tenure-track faculty positions:

Experimental Condensed Matter Physics (1)

Optics and Biophysics (2)

Theoretical Particle Physics (1)

We seek candidates with the potential to create world-renown research program at 토토 후기. The successful candidates are expected to have international recognition in their field or a demonstrable potential for such. They are expected to establish and execute an independent research group at 토토 후기, and should interact and collaborate effectively with scientists in other research institutes and organizations. We anticipate hiring at the assistant professor level, but will also consider an associate professor appointment for exceptional candidates.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Physics or a closely related field. Preference will be given to applicants with more than two years of postdoc experience, or equivalent. They will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in English and supervise graduate students. Position and compensation will be commensurate with experience.
