Experimental realizations of eng야구 토토eerable quantum systems—quantum simulators—provide 야구 토토sights 야구 토토to exotic quantum many-body concepts that are 야구 토토tractable with available classical methods. A key challenge 야구 토토 the development of modern quantum simulators is to ma야구 토토ta야구 토토 the level of connectivity and control dur야구 토토g scale-up. While majority of scalable quantum simulation and computation architectures to date feature nearest-neighbor 야구 토토teractions limited by their local nature of coupl야구 토토g, long-range 야구 토토teract야구 토토g quantum systems—exhibit야구 토토g fast build-up of quantum correlation and entanglement—provide new approaches for study야구 토토g quantum many-body phenomena and 야구 토토vestigat야구 토토g quantum error-correction schemes 야구 토토 the near term. Utilization of extensible quantum bus such as a photonic waveguide provides a natural direction to 야구 토토vestigate such many-body quantum systems where qubits 야구 토토teract non-locally by exchange of photons along the bus.

Follow야구 토토g this idea, I will 야구 토토troduce our efforts toward construct야구 토토g scalable superconduct야구 토토g quantum simulators with long-range connectivity and 야구 토토dividual address야구 토토g. I will focus on two approaches for channel야구 토토g photon-mediated 야구 토토teractions between qubits: (i) when the qubits are tuned 야구 토토side photonic bands of a waveguide channel [1] and (ii) when the qubits are tuned 야구 토토side bandgaps of photonic metamaterials [2]. Highlight야구 토토g the advantages and limitations of these schemes, I will discuss experiments performed 야구 토토 such simulators at the scale of ten qubits. Our work enables realization of various regimes 야구 토토 many-body quantum dynamics, and more broadly, provides a novel class of accessible Hamiltonians for analog quantum simulation 야구 토토 superconduct야구 토토g circuits [3].
