Abstract

The TOTEM Experiment will measure the total pp cross-section with the luminosity-independent
method and study elastic and diffractive scattering at the LHC.올림픽 토토To올림픽 토토achieve올림픽 토토optimum올림픽 토토forward
coverage for charged particles emitted by the pp collisions in올림픽 토토the올림픽 토토interaction올림픽 토토point올림픽 토토IP5,올림픽 토토two
tracking telescopes, T1 and올림픽 토토T2,올림픽 토토are올림픽 토토installed올림픽 토토on올림픽 토토each올림픽 토토side올림픽 토토in올림픽 토토the올림픽 토토pseudorapidity올림픽 토토region
3.1 ≤ |η| ≤ 6.5, and Roman Pot stations will be placed at distances of ±147 m and ±220 m
from IP5 at LHC. Being올림픽 토토an올림픽 토토independent올림픽 토토experiment올림픽 토토but올림픽 토토technically올림픽 토토integrated올림픽 토토into올림픽 토토CMS,
TOTEM will first operate in standalone mode to pursue its own physics programme and at올림픽 토토a
later stage together with CMS for a common physics programme.올림픽 토토This올림픽 토토communication올림픽 토토will
