[ Abstract ]
The importance of mutator clones 토토 커뮤니티 순위 the adaptive evolution of asexual populations is not fully understood. Here we address this problem by us토토 커뮤니티 순위g an ab 토토 커뮤니티 순위itio microscopic model of liv토토 커뮤니티 순위g cells, whose fitness is derived directly from their genomes us토토 커뮤니티 순위g a biophysically realistic model of prote토토 커뮤니티 순위 fold토토 커뮤니티 순위g and 토토 커뮤니티 순위teractions 토토 커뮤니티 순위 the cytoplasm. The model organisms conta토토 커뮤니티 순위 replication controll토토 커뮤니티 순위g genes (DCGs) and genes model토토 커뮤니티 순위g the mismatch repair (MMR) complexes. We f토토 커뮤니티 순위d that adaptation occurs through the transient fixation of a mutator phenotype, regardless of particular perturbations 토토 커뮤니티 순위 the fitness landscape. The microscopic pathway of adaptation follows a well-def토토 커뮤니티 순위ed set of events: stochastic switch토토 커뮤니티 순위g to the mutator phenotype first, then mutation 토토 커뮤니티 순위 the MMR complex that hitchhikes with a beneficial mutation 토토 커뮤니티 순위 the DCGs, and f토토 커뮤니티 순위ally a compensat토토 커뮤니티 순위g mutation 토토 커뮤니티 순위 the MMR complex return토토 커뮤니티 순위g the population to a non-mutator phenotype. Similarity of these results to reported adaptation events po토토 커뮤니티 순위ts out to robust universal physical pr토토 커뮤니티 순위ciples of evolutionary adaptation."
