Abstract
  
An experiment, RENO (Reactor Experiment for Neutrino Oscillation) is under construction
to measure one of three neutrino토토 승무패mixing angle (theta_13)토토 승무패which has not yet토토 승무패measured,
using토토 승무패anti-neutrinos emitted from the YongGwang nuclear토토 승무패reactors in Korea.토토 승무패It is in토토 승무패a
strong competition with Double CHOOZ in France, and Daya Bay in China to obtain토토 승무패the
result on the mixing angle. A measurement or stringent limit on theta_13 would be crucial
as part of a long term program to measure the CP violation parameter using accelerators.
A sufficient value of theta_13 measured in this reactor neutrino experiment would strongly
motivate the investment토토 승무패required토토 승무패for a new토토 승무패round of accelerator토토 승무패neutrino experiments.
In this talk, the current status of RENO construction and experimental methods will be
