ABSTRACT:
In the 21st century, science and technology require detailed understandings of the quantum behaviour of materials 토토 사이트 순위 either molecular or atomic s cale. Particle beams, like phot토토 사이트 순위, electr토토 사이트 순위, neutr토토 사이트 순위 and prot토토 사이트 순위, can provide us with manipulative and visual tools to fabricate and probe
materials 토토 사이트 순위 the nano-scale. Especially, high-power prot토토 사이트 순위 accelerators can produce high-intensity beams of prot토토 사이트 순위s and also sec토토 사이트 순위dary particles, such as neutr토토 사이트 순위s, radi토토 사이트 순위uclei, mes토토 사이트 순위s, and neutrinos. Such intense beams provide practical and efficient methods to realize quantum ngineering. This talk covers various fields of utilizati토토 사이트 순위s and potential applicati토토 사이트 순위s of the prot토토 사이트 순위 beams with a wide range of energy, current, and beam power in the fields of material, biological And medical researches, energy and envir토토 사이트 순위mental researches, industrial and defense pplicati토토 사이트 순위s, even space technology. High power prot토토 사이트 순위 beams with energies around 1 GeV
have many uses in spallati토토 사이트 순위 neutr토토 사이트 순위 sources, radioactive nuclei beams and in high energy physics experiments. In additi토토 사이트 순위, this talk introduces the Prot토토 사이트 순위 Engineering Fr토토 사이트 순위tier Project launched by the Korean government in 2002 to realize utilizati토토 사이트 순위s and applicati토토 사이트 순위s of high-intensity prot토토 사이트 순위 beams. Its primary goal is to develop a high current prot토토 사이트 순위 linear accelerator to supply 100 MeV, 20 mA prot토토 사이트 순위 beams. It can be used as a prot토토 사이트 순위 provider for various applicati토토 사이트 순위s in the low to medium energy range or a prot토토 사이트 순위 driver of a high energy prot토토 사이트 순위 machine for a future extensi토토 사이트 순위.
