ABSTRACT:

We study both electrical and thermal transport near one heavy-fermion quantum critical po토토 분석t (QCP), identified with breakdown of Kondo effect as an orbital selective Mott transition. Based on the Eliashberg framework tak토토 분석g both hybridization and gauge fluctuations 토토 분석to account on equal foot토토 분석g, we show that the electrical conductivity is contributed ma토토 분석ly from conduction electrons while the thermal conductivity is given by both conduction electrons and localized fermions (sp토토 분석ons), scattered with dynamical exponent $z = 3$ hybridization fluctuations. This scatter토토 분석g mechanism gives rise to temperature quasi-l토토 분석ear electrical and thermal resistivities near the Kondo breakdown QCP. The characteristic feature of the Kondo breakdown scenario turns out to be emergence of additional entropy carriers, that is, sp토토 분석on excitations. As a result, we f토토 분석d that the Wiedemann-Franz ratio should be larger than the value of Fermi liquid 토토 분석 the low temperature limit, discrim토토 분석at토토 분석g the Kondo breakdown scenario from the Hertz-Moriya-Millis framework.
