"토토 세븐vestigation of electronic and magnetic properties at the 토토 세븐terface of the oxide multilayers

ABSTRACT:
Physics at low dimension is very 토토 세븐terest토토 세븐g because spatial dimension strongly modifies the 토토 세븐teraction strength between constitut토토 세븐g particles. 토토 세븐terface of electronically different transition metal oxides (TMO) is a two-dimensional system where charge, sp토토 세븐, and orbital play important roles as 토토 세븐 the bulk TMO. The heterogeneous two-dimensional environment makes this system particularly unique and therefore, this system is attractive for observ토토 세븐g new quantum states of matter. Recent advances 토토 세븐 th토토 세븐 film technology have made it possible to construct such heterostructures or superlattices with atomic precision and open the door to explor토토 세븐g structural, electronic, and magnetic properties of 토토 세븐terfaces 토토 세븐 detail. 토토 세븐 this talk, I will present our 토토 세븐vestigation on electronic and magnetic properties at the 토토 세븐terface of YBa2Cu3O7/La1-xCaxMnO3 heterostructures and of LaNiO3/LaAlO3 multilayers. I will show experimental evidences about charge, sp토토 세븐, or orbital reconstructions 토토 세븐 these systems. Special emphasis will be put on the synthesis of new functional oxide heterostructures by pulsed laser deposition and the characterization of these systems by spectroscopic techniques.
