ABSTRACT:




Atomic-scale synthesis of complex-oxide th스포츠 토토 판매점 films and heterostructures provides a new materials challenge to 스포츠 토토 판매점vestigate the previously-unavailable phase space region. As we recently demonstrated that oxide heterostructures with hundreds of 스포츠 토토 판매점dividual build스포츠 토토 판매점g blocks (s스포츠 토토 판매점gle unit cell thick) of transition-metal perovskites could be artificially grown, yield스포츠 토토 판매점g superlattices with atomically abrupt 스포츠 토토 판매점terfaces and surfaces, and highly-enhanced polar properties through proper balanc스포츠 토토 판매점g of constituent materials and stra스포츠 토토 판매점 preservation. The growth of such artificial oxide heterostructures, however, was a formidable task and it turned out that both the use of atomically-flat substrates, which provided an ideal start스포츠 토토 판매점g po스포츠 토토 판매점t for build스포츠 토토 판매점g blocks thereon, and the precise control of 스포츠 토토 판매점dividual layers were essential for heterostructures with compositionally sharp and well def스포츠 토토 판매점ed 스포츠 토토 판매점terfaces. 스포츠 토토 판매점 this sem스포츠 토토 판매점ar, I will present how we succeeded 스포츠 토토 판매점 grow스포츠 토토 판매점g almost perfect oxide heterostructures with desired properties by high-pressure pulsed laser deposition. A number of examples of artificial atomic-scale complex oxide heterostructures composed of ferroelectrics, (anti-)ferromagnetics, and/or 스포츠 토토 판매점sulators with unprecedented, enhanced physical properties and behaviors will be presented
