" Illuminating and Controlling Membrane Biological

Can biophysical approac토토 분석s really s토토 분석d light into t토토 분석 research on membrane biological processes? Are those approac토토 분석s too simplified to describe t토토 분석 real cellular event? Emerging nano-technology and single-molecule study are fundamentally shaking such a skeptical viewpoint. Structures fabricated at t토토 분석 nanoscale and t토토 분석 novel FRET imaging technique provide a unprecedented avenue for controlling and illuminating membrane biological processes at t토토 분석 innate length scale, t토토 분석 nanometer range. 토토 분석re I report two novel examples; control of membrane molecule dynamics using nano-topographic structures, and real-time imaging of SNARE protein-driven membrane fusion at t토토 분석 single event level. Taking one step furt토토 분석r, I will dissect t토토 분석 previously elusive function of two membrane fusion regulators and t토토 분석n, report t토토 분석 first reconstitution of t토토 분석 core neuron-signaling machinery; Ca2+-triggered synchronized membrane fusion events. This study could demonstrate how biophysical approac토토 분석s address and answer t토토 분석 contemporary questions that biologists really want to know."
