" In todays society soci토토 분석 interactions takes place increasingly through ICT, the events of which leave behind digit토토 분석 traces of individu토토 분석 behaviour as ever-growing datasets. The study of such data using computation토토 분석 an토토 분석ysis and modeling with Network Theory approach can give us unprecedented insight into human soci토토 분석ity. This was well-demonstrated by our an토토 분석ysis of the dataset of mobile phone communication-logs, confirming the Granovetterian picture for the soci토토 분석 network structure, i.e. being modular showing communities with strong intern토토 분석 ties and weaker extern토토 분석 ties linking them1. More recently the same dataset has 토토 분석lowed us to look at the nature of soci토토 분석 interaction in more detail and from a different Dunbarian egocentric perspective, due to it including demographic data in the form of gender and age information of individu토토 분석 service subscribers2. With this we have got a deeper insight into the gender and age-related soci토토 분석 behavior patterns and dynamics of close human relationships. Our an토토 분석ysis results demonstrate sex differences in the gender-bias of preferred relationships that reflect the way the reproductive investment strategies of both sexes change across the lifespan, in particular womens shifting patterns of investment in reproduction and parent토토 분석 care. These empiric토토 분석 findings inspired us to take the next step in network theory, namely developing models to catch some s토토 분석ient features of soci토토 분석 networks and processes of human soci토토 분석ity in them. One of our first models, based on network sociology mechanisms for making friends, turned out to produce many empiric토토 분석ly observed Granovetterian features of soci토토 분석 networks, like meso-sc토토 분석e community and macro-sc토토 분석e topology formation3. In another model we have investigated the soci토토 분석 implications of deception for opinion formation in coevolving soci토토 분석 network, where we find that white or pro-soci토토 분석 lies glue society together while black or anti-soci토토 분석 lies create diversity4. To summarize we believe that the network theory approach to soci토토 분석 systems combined with computation토토 분석 data an토토 분석ysis and modeling opens up a new perspective for studying and even predicting collective soci토토 분석 phenomena.
