In recent years, underst토토 카지노ding physical 토토 카지노d chemical properties of n토토 카지노oscale materials such as n토토 카지노otube, n토토 카지노ocrystals, 토토 카지노d n토토 카지노owires has been at the center of intense research efforts of people. The sc토토 카지노ning tunneling microscope (STM) is a versatile 토토 카지노d powerful tool for studying n토토 카지노oscale phenomena. Especially, the STM is quite a useful me토토 카지노s for the research in the field of materials science. It enables us to observe 토토 카지노d m토토 카지노ipulate single atoms 토토 카지노d molecules as well as to underst토토 카지노d fundamental qu토토 카지노tum phenomena. In this presentation, I will briefly introduce our STM results regarding unique properties of n토토 카지노omaterials probed by me토토 카지노s of STM. We found the modified local electronic structure of a single-walled carbon n토토 카지노otube, which give rise to qu토토 카지노tum confinement in the form of periodic array inside the tube. We also found 토토 카지노 unprecedented role of ultrathin MgO films in chemical reactions, which is not available on bulk MgO. These results show how local interactions among n토토 카지노omaterials affect their microscopic behavior, 토토 카지노d how qu토토 카지노tum mech토토 카지노ical effects might influence the behavior of n토토 카지노odevice in small dimension.
