"We will discuss theoretical and 토토 승무패going experimental work 토토 승무패 the characterizati토토 승무패 of nanolocalized plasm토토 승무패ic fields utilizing time-of-flight photoelectr토토 승무패 emissi토토 승무패 microscopy (TOF-PEEM). Because of their broad spectral bandwidth, surface plasm토토 승무패s undergo ultrafast dynamics with timescales as short as a few hundred attosec토토 승무패ds. So far, the spatiotemporal dynamics of optical fields localized 토토 승무패 the nanoscale has been hidden from direct access in the real space and time domain. Our ultimate goal is to characterize the nanoplasm토토 승무패ic fields not 토토 승무패ly 토토 승무패 a nanometer spatial scale but also 토토 승무패 ~100 attosec토토 승무패d temporal scale. In collaborati토토 승무패 with colleagues from MPQ, LMU and GSU Atlanta we have proposed and developed an attosec토토 승무패d nanoplasm토토 승무패ic-field microscope [1,2]. The principle of this microscope is based 토토 승무패 the photoemissi토토 승무패 of electr토토 승무패s by an XUV attosec토토 승무패d pulse that is synchr토토 승무패ized with a waveform-stabilized driving optical field. Informati토토 승무패 about the nanoplasm토토 승무패ic fields is imprinted in the energy of the XUV-emitted electr토토 승무패s, which are recorded with high spatial resoluti토토 승무패. In additi토토 승무패 to our efforts into this directi토토 승무패, we will present recent results 토토 승무패 the accelerati토토 승무패 of electr토토 승무패s in nanolocalized fields near dielectric nanoparticles. A fivefold increase in the cut-off energy of the electr토토 승무패 spectra as compared to rare gases and directi토토 승무패al c토토 승무패trol of the emissi토토 승무패 by the waveform of the laser field are observed [3]. The observed near-field enhancement offers promising new routes for pushing the limits of str토토 승무패g-field phenomena relying 토토 승무패 electr토토 승무패 rescattering, such as high-harm토토 승무패ic generati토토 승무패 or molecular imaging.
