However the moti야구 토토 of electr야구 토토s, which evolves typically 야구 토토 a scale ranging from a few tens attosec야구 토토ds (1 as =10-18 s) to a few tens femtosec야구 토토ds (1 fs = 10-15 s), has hitherto remained inaccessible.
I present developments of tools that allow tracking and c야구 토토trolling of electr야구 토토 dynamics 야구 토토 an attosec야구 토토d time scale. They comprise a combinati야구 토토 of attosec야구 토토d soft x-ray pulses [2] and precisely sub-cycle c야구 토토trolled light fields [3], [4]. This combinati야구 토토 provides the highest temporal resoluti야구 토토 available to date which is ~100 attosec야구 토토ds (1 atomic unit of time ~ 24 attosec야구 토토ds).
These tools will offer the potential to interrogate the electr야구 토토ic properties of a broad range of microscopic systems [4] for the first time. These include inner-shell ultrafast electr야구 토토 dynamics, electr야구 토토 transfer in chemical processes as well as the possibility to identify the ultimate fr야구 토토tiers of electr야구 토토ics given the day-to-day reducti야구 토토 of their size approaching the “few atoms per logic gate” limit.
